About BYV Organics
BYV Organics is pioneering circular economy solutions by converting biosolids and non-recyclable waste into high-value fertilisers. Our mission is to deliver sustainable resource recovery that benefits farmers, communities, and the environment.
Currently, Australia produces approximately 1.6 million tonnes of dewatered biosolids for reuse across many applications annually. Around 70 percent of these biosolids are used in agriculture as soil conditioners and fertilisers.
BYV Organics processes approximately 37,000 tonnes of these dewatered biosolids in the South Burnett region for application on local farms each year.

BYV Organics is developing an advanced approach to biosolids treatment that transforms local waste into high-value agricultural fertiliser. Our innovative process will use energy from non-recyclable waste to dry biosolids - reducing odour and contaminants while cutting the reliance on fossil fuels.
